Integrated into semester two is professional practice, the assignment to create our own personal identity and to produce a creative package. Having a logo simply just isn’t enough and a logo is not a brand. The benefits of branding is an important aspect to any successful business and gives the feel of a company. I am very aware that it’s important from now to be viewing myself as a business to ensure that after graduation I am already identifiable as a designer and can confidently promote myself. I’ve certainly had to have a crash course in becoming I.T. savvy!
This module has been good training for me, not only for homing in on my graphic design skills but advancing my knowledge in Illustrator, Photoshop and In Design. This part is definitely still a work in progress and at the mock up stages deciding on colour, design, fonts and layouts.
